My name is Maggie. I am looking for a loving, safe place to call home.  I prefer to be the only pet as I have not had a good experience with other cats and dogs. 

I wandered into a cat colony in a parking lot downtown.  The other cats did not want to share their food but I was desperate to eat so I waited for the scraps when they were done.  Even though I kept my distance, the cats would chase me off.  If they caught me, they would bite and scratch me.

One day I gave up, I just lay in the bushes bloody with several wounds from my nose to my tail.  The colony feeder found me and thought I was dead.  She hand fed me wet food and I mustered enough energy to climb into her lap in hopes of being saved. 

My foster has lovingly nursed me back to health and I am very grateful.  I would not have survived without her.

Now that I am safe, I am free to explore a new world of play, sitting on laps, rubbing against my foster and naps in the sunlight on the chair.  I love my new life!  I would like to share my new lease on life with you….will you open your home to me?
