Tank and Tuxy are a BONDED pair. They were found at a derelict, about to be demolished old building. They are so friendly that a well meaning person tried to "rescue" rescue Tank by putting a collar and leash on him. Naturally he ran off as soon as he could but he was trailing the leash and when he went to hide under the house the leash caught on something and he was trapped. Tuxxy waited outside the entrance to the hole, refusing to leave, not even to eat, for 3 days until someone was able to crawl in and cut his friend Tank free. If Tuxxy had not been so loyal his feeder would not have known where to look for Tank.
Both are extremely mellow, affectionate cats and crave cuddles. Tank enjoys a tummy tickle! They are really appreciative to be inside and safe and like to show it! They both use the litterbox and a scratching box well .
